Edwin Salazar is a third-year mechanical engineering student and MESA student assistant at the University of California, Davis. Originally born and raised in Mexico, he found his passion for mathematics and science when he began his education in California in 2015. He developed this passion as he grew through his years of education in middle and high school, leading him to pursue an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering in 2021. Since then, he has developed a passion for modern technology and recent engineering developments, such as additive and subtractive manufacturing, material science, renewable energy, and the growing electric vehicle revolution, which he aspires to be part of in the future.
