MESA Schools Program

The UC Davis chapter of the MESA Program is dedicated to the enrichment of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education and college outreach for middle schools and high schools in the greater Sacramento Region. The MESA program engages thousands of youth in our local communities throughout the state of California to mentor and guide students to become successful within STEM majors in higher education, and ultimately their career paths.

The UC Davis MESA Center is housed under UC Davis Undergraduate Admissions and works in tandem with other outreach programs to support the STEM curriculum and access to higher education in many of our local school districts. This ultimately assists our students in pursuing a degree in higher education.

Throughout its years of operation, the MESA program at UC Davis has given constant support to students in our local communities through collaborative student workshops, advisor and district training, hands-on STEM competitions, college campus tours, college process counseling, and transfer support for K-12 students.
