MESA Schools Program 

The UC Davis MESA Center is dedicated to the enhancement of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education and college outreach to middle and high schools in the greater Sacramento Region.  MESA is nationally recognized for its innovative and effective academic development program. MESA engages thousands of youth in our local communities to become successful in STEM majors in higher education, and ultimately in their career pathways.

The UC Davis MESA Center is a Unit of the UC Davis Undergraduate Admissions Office, and works in tandem with our outreach units to provide effective and consistent support in STEM curriculum and higher educational access to local school districts. Many of our students ultimately go on to pursue a degree in a STEM field.

MESA will be celebrating 50 years of success, and has a proven track record of producing STEM graduates by providing support such as student workshops, advisor and district trainings, hands-on competitions, counseling and transfer support for K-12 students.
