Eddie Salazar is a third-year mechanical engineering student and MESA student assistant at the University of California, Davis. Originally born and raised in Mexico, he moved to El Centro, California in 2015, when he first started his education in the U.S. Throughout his secondary education, he found his passion for STEM and the automotive industry, which motivated him to pursue a career in mechanical engineering in 2021. In December 2022, Eddie joined MESA as a student assistant, which he learned about when volunteering for MESA Day in 2022.
